LOVE this park. Well maintained with creek just outside the large dog fence. Sunny and shade (large oaks), water, agility, very spacious. Large playground next door with an open sports field and paved path circling the whole thing.
This dog park is separated into two areas. One for the smaller breeds and one for larger. I have taken my girl ten + times and she has loved it every time. It’s convenient, large enough for her to run and play and has walking areas outside the fenced in park. Carry some water in freezing temps but the rest of the year the water is on for the dogs.
They’re putting in a walking trail across the street along with redoing the parking lot there. Tons of access to the Rover if your dog likes water this park is unbeatable.
Just moved to Hoover and found this place to take my dog. Large, fenced in areas for both small and large dogs to romp around in. Lots of trees and shade to sit out of the sun. There is also a nice area to walk your dog on a leash, as well as a picnic area and playground for families. I imagine it can get muddy after a day of raining, so I would suggest bringing them on a sunny/dry day 🙂
The park is nice and tucked away in a neighborhood. It has a walking trail, large field, playground, covered pavilions and fenced in dog parks. We went for the playground which is in very good condition. It is behind the dog parks. My son loved the jeep and played with it for a very long time. He also enjoyed the swings. I didn’t see any restrooms while there. Only issue I had was parking, I drive a big vehicle and it was a little difficult getting into the very small parking lot.
