The Halloween event was charming & quaint! It felt as if you had walked onto a Disney film! Beautifully & elaborately decorated, with lantern lit pathways, a huge haunted house built on site for everyone to tour through, & lots of fun, themed, displays provided fun photo ops. Both the adults & children in our group enjoyed it immensely. I look forward to next year!
Love this park! Probably one of my new favorite parks. Has a ton of shade! There’s 4 or so benches- wish there were a few more, but a picnic blanket would also be nice to relax on in the shade. There’s 2 sets of swings- one for littles (only downside is I wish they weren’t so high up- a bit difficult to get a heavier 3 year old in) and 1 for bigger kids. There’s a climbing structure and the playground is fun. There’s a big metal slide and Memorial that is pretty cool to check out as well. Will definitely be back.
Fabulous park for a “small” town though it definitely isn’t as small as it used to be. My kids played here for hours and had a blast. We ventured through the grass to see the horses on the other side of the park and were eaten alive but mosquitoes. But within the actual play area was fine.
