Foothills County Park in Hoodsport, WA, offers a spacious and well-maintained dog park that caters to both energetic pups and those who prefer a quieter environment. This dog-friendly park features two separate, fenced areas: a large dog section and a smaller run for senior or shy dogs. The grounds are expansive, providing plenty of space for dogs to play and socialize, making it one of the favored dog parks in the Mason County area.
While the park is mostly open, visitors are encouraged to bring their own shade during the sunny season, as natural cover can be limited. Besides the dog areas, the park includes a children’s playground and clean restrooms, making it a family-friendly destination. Foothills County Park is known for its welcoming atmosphere and offers a peaceful, out-of-the-way spot for dogs and their owners to enjoy a day out.
Pretty nice dog park. There’s a bigger one and a smaller one for shy/senior dogs. No much shade but plenty of space for dogs to have fun! There’s also a playground for kids and restrooms available!
Bring your own shade during sunny season. Otherwise surprisingly nice facility.
Gates locked during business hours happens alot . Very frustrating 11.30 today closed not raining nor snow. If you drive a ways to get there this gets pretty old. I’m calling Monday to find out why . Will post outcome.
Nice park that added a 2 section dog park now. Very big an nice
Out-of-the-way playground with toys for the kids, and it has a large fenced-in area. The bathrooms were very clean which I was surprised to see.
