Awesome trail conditions with majority in the shade on hard packed trail until the overlook. And then the views were spectacular.

A beautiful moderate hike in the woods. Lots of trillium and wild flowers along the trail. Picturesque views of Sleeping Bear Dunes and Lake Michigan at the turn around point. A wooden plank pathway assists hikers at the sandiest portion of the path with a few wooden benches placed to relax and enjoy the view. A great way to see the lakebed contours and get a bit of exercise.

Amazing views!! Definitely an easy enough hike as well! If you’re there, walk further up the top of the hills. Such a gorgeous view!

Another breath taking view! This was a nice 1.5 mile round trip hike with minimal hills! There are two great overlooks along the trail! This trail is also dog friendly! 10/10 recommend this trail! Especially for the doggos!

Absolutely beautiful scenic views at the end. A quiet hike through the woods that isn’t too difficult, and then suddenly you’re looking at a panoramic view of Lake Michigan. Beautiful even on cloudy days like today. I’d suggest hiking past the log that most people stop at, as there’s a trail that continues on for quite a ways with some beautiful views at the end.
