We have 2 little furry guys that are like our children. We used to board our boys at the vets whenever we went away. Unfortunately, our vet stopped boarding dogs, and when we found our self in need of boarding, we started to search the internet. Since we take care of our furry babies and think of them as our children, we were very nervous about finding a suitable kennel to board them when we were away. Fortunately through our search, we found Barking Buddy Kennels. What a godsend they are! We have boarded our boys with them on various occasions, and are always very happy and feel totally at ease to leave them at Barking Buddy Kennels. When we first contacted the Gilberts at Barking Buddy Kennels, we were invited to go to the facility for a tour. We were able to meet the Gilberts and ask many, many questions. Everyone was so friendly and they are all so easy to work with. Before we left the kennel on our first visit, we knew that we found the right place, and that our boys would be well taken care of. The facility is bright and clean. They have different sizes of kennels, and we were able to have both of our little guys in the same kennel with plenty of room for them to move around, but still be able to stay together. Joan invited us to call and check on our dogs while we were away if we wanted to. When we went to pick them up upon our return, we were so relieved and happy to see that they were very content and seemed very comfortable at Barking Buddies. In fact, when we got home from our trip and went to pick our little guys up, rather than run to us with excitement, they ran to the Gilberts for attention! We are so pleased with Barking Buddy Kennels that we have strongly recommended them to family and friends who have needed to board their furry friends.
We needed to board our dog last minute over a holiday weekend and they were available! Our dog is more like a member of our family so I was very nervous about boarding him and wanted to make sure he was going to be well taken care of. Not only were they patient and willing to answer all our questions they even gave us a tour and explained how they record each dogs outings to help put my mind at ease! It was a very clean, bright, and welcoming. Which was not the case with another kennel we looked into! They even said it would be totally fine if we called in to check on him. They have an extra large kennel option for larger dogs which we used. They even have private kennels for dogs that might be anxious at the sight of other dogs. I was so pleased with this boarding kennel we would definitely use them again and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to board their furry family members!
The owners are caring and give wonderful service. Tykie loves going there, although he is also really happy to come home again. 🙂
