It’s loud. I mean loud loud. I wouldn’t call it family friendly. It’s basically a rowdy staging area for drunk ORV folks and their music and rebel flags and loud trucks. The staff were very kind and the facilities are clean. The campsites are nice and good sized. It’s a super pretty area. Did I mention loud?

I’m Only saying okay because I got stung a bee as they were everywhere, along with horseflies. I hadn’t been here since my childhood and was reliving some memories with my Dad as he died of covid. As I’m walking around marveling at the fact that it looks just like it did back in the 1980s with the grills and picnic tables, and then was stung badly and had to leave. 😢
