Absolutely beautiful, quiet and stunning park! This is a 1.3 square mile park with a walking path going around the park. There are spacious sections to sit and enjoy the view, has a man-made waterfall, pavilion area, pickleball & tennis courts, 2 different children’s play areas, a couple of really nice statues and a time capsule to be opened after 50 years (Sept. 2033).
There was a boat launch for small non-motorized boats. It would be perfect for Sunfish and wind surfers! Restrooms were also available.

Nice park. Nice concrete walking path, tennis courts, large pond, splash pad, playground, and plenty of grass to lounge on. Keep dog on leash and pick up poop

This place was beautiful! There is lots of room to walk your dog, but there are “goat heads” or thorns in the grass. My corgi girl got one in her foot while we were there. So just watch your kids or dogs closely.
The ducks, geese, and a beautiful swan are all fairly at ease around humans and dogs.
All in all, I loved it! Just not the thorns. 😬

The park was a beautiful setting for the community to attend a prayer gathering for President Trump, the government, our nation, schools, etc. There is a wonderful statue made by a local artist. The playgrounds are excellent for kids. There are good tennis courts and public restrooms. The star is the lake with fish, ducks, geese, and the majestic swan.
