Park itself is awesome I come all the Time to walk a child I care for love the new handicap swing. Just have noticed more then once cars coming to this parking lot with no kids and sleeping in their cars and other weird things just a heads up for parents who let their kids go here alone.
Came here as a child and now bring my kids when we visit Long Island. Nice park overall and as others said, recently renovated. The new playground is definitely built for older kids so hopefully they will build a smaller playground for toddlers and smaller children to use. Great having the open play area, sand, spinner, basketball court and tennis court too. Needs more benches near the playground and basketball court though!
Not a bad park for the kids. But definitely a Little shady with ppl parking in the lot with no kids though. Looks like just smoking weed but I won’t be back.
4 star due to lack of bathroom but otherwise great.
The park includes the wheelchair accessible swing which is nice to see.
Nice and fun playground equipment and tennis courts and basketball hoops. Also fenced!
Sometimes, one needs to sit on a bench and just enjoy the beautiful outdoors. I do not have children so I am one of the “weirdos” that the folks write about who go there yet do not have any children. Today, I went to get some sun and stretch so I actually used the equipment and did some climbing. I was the only one there and it was magnificent. Eventually, a few other people joined me and they laughed and smiled as their children went on the swings, slid down the slide, and made themselves dizzy on some of the “rides.” If you are looking for a safe place where you and your children can get some sun and have some fun, I would recommend this park.
