Nice to have a rest area just for dogs. If you were hoping to find human facilities, sorry.
Great park and rest area. It offers a very nice and clean doggie park, so it is a perfect place if you travel with your pet. The only problem is lack of functioning restrooms.
This was a great little dog park on our way through Arizona. Our dog loved the figurine of a dog and thought it was real at first. The downside is people not cleaning up after their dogs. You have to watch where you step to ensure you aren’t stepping on a landmine. This is just an enclosed area, so make sure you bring plenty of water for your pup because there isn’t any place in the property where you can get water. This park provides waste bags and even a rake, so there shouldn’t be any excuse at to why owners aren’t cleaning up after their pets, other than laziness. Please clean up after your pets. This keeps the park nice for everyone.*Note: The photo posted is of our dog and not of the park. This is to show the size of dog that we brought with us. He didn’t try to jump the fence even though it’s approx a 4 ft fence.
Nice park with fenced in dog area. Just what our dogs needed to burn some energy off before traveling more. It was relatively clean. Only complaint is gate on opposite side of entrance was held shut by a weak piece of rope. We had some tape and secured it for our dogs.
Totally unexpected lovely little dog enclosure which was so great for letting dogs off leash and not being concerned about them. There were picnic tables there too – we made dinner on our little camp stove and enjoyed the trains going by and the distant sunset. My dogs loved the green grass! So nice after straight desert as far as the eye can see 😁
Perfect park to break up a long car ride. Complete with public restrooms, playground (including a merry-go-round…awesome new one too!), and giant tractor tires. Not a large park, but good enough for kids to have some fun. It is right next to the local fairgrounds as well, so you have plenty of parking options.
