Viaduct Park Dog Park is one of the newest dog parks in Hoboken, New Jersey. Conveniently located near ShopRite at 1333 Madison St, it offers a welcoming place for local dog owners to gather and let their pets play off-leash. The park features agility course equipment for active dogs, clean turf underpaw, and stunning views beneath the highway, making it a unique urban pet-friendly spot.
This Hoboken dog park is known for being a little less crowded than some of the other local options, providing a more relaxed atmosphere for your canine companion. Regular visitors report well-behaved dogs and friendly owners, and the park is kept clean by its users. Occasional weekend meetups are hosted at the park, offering a great chance to socialize with other pet lovers in the community.

Very nice and clean dog park with turf. The regular dogs are friendly and get along well. There are dog meetups on some weekends.
Usually a very nice place to hang out with fellow dog lovers. Not the best when it is overrun with uptight and seemingly condescending xolo owners who don’t know how to control their dogs. Their seems to be a thought that unneutered dogs are a problem yet, it is usually the neutered dogs that are aggressive toward the unneutered pups. 🤷
A little better understanding of dog park etiquette would be fantastic when entering or leaving the park and not letting other dogs through the gate but overall 85% of our visits are really enjoyable.
This is a small unique location that my dog enjoys going to before I head to shop rite for groceries. Most of the time it is dog walkers with big groups of dogs, but all are professional and dogs well behaved. Cool view under the highway.
One of, if not the newest dog park in Hoboken, is a great little spot. It does not get quite as busy as the surrounding dog parks and has some agility course items built-in (as seen below). Some people find the asphalt to be a turn-off but Frankie, our dog loves it!
