Water felt amazing. Some may say that it’s a little cold, but I like water a little bit chillier than most. Found plenty of spots to swim and enjoy. Water was refreshing. I took my life straw and drink plenty of water with no issues.

This park is seriously a perfect park for
family/friend get-togethers and/or birthday parties, baby showers, gender reveals, anniversary parties, etc. Riven Rock Park is honestly the BEST and most GORGEOUS one within HOURS of our area! It’s got a unique and gorgeous view in which others don’t have around here.. at all.. This park is 100% clean and perfectly well-kept. I love that this place never looks trashy nor does it ever have other peoples litter/trash all of the ground and/or near your picnic party area. This gives you a lot less worries!! (Like picking up after others just to ensure you at least have everything looking nice for the guests, family, and friends to arrive). Every time I’ve ever come here the area in which we had rented would be totally neat, spotless, and ready for us to start setting up whenever for our get-together. Totally worth it and it’s also a lot more peaceful of a place here! You have a lot more space for your get-together with your loved ones than most other picnic parks around here! In most in our area, you’re crammed into other family parties around yours while trying to have a good time and focus on your area and your party but others can get so loud and crowded that it just seems impossible to ignore the fact that there are multiple other parties going on at the other rented pavilions all around you which really just makes you in a hurry to leave the area leaving you not even getting half of your money’s worth. Plus parking is a GREAT plus at Riven Rock Park!! Its actually very spacious and again, don’t have multiple other family pavilions around you. Its very nice. I suggest any one who does stuff like this, PLEASE TRY THIS ONE OUT!!! You won’t go back nor will you be disappointed. I can promise you that! Love this place!

This is the place to be. But Google maps is way off. There’s a few place to hike down to the river. Choose wisely. You may get hurt if you don’t have good footing. But once you get there. Its a total blast. There a big rock that people jump off into the river. Its plenty deep. Or you can just hang out on the shallow side. Parking is risky. By that I mean street parking.

This park is nestled on a beautiful river with gazebos and grills and has restrooms albeit no lighting that I saw and very basic and it also has water stations in multiple locations throughout the park. Keep in mind there is no cell phone signal in this area so for some that may not be ideal, however for myself no signal is exactly what I want, surrounded by nature and very peaceful and quiet, plenty of nature trails and other things, loved this park!
