This is a great dog friendly park. Dog walk off leash here so be cautious in case you have a nervous dog like I do, but never had issues.

It’s a wonderful place for the pups to play and swim. Bring water on hot days. Signs say all dogs must be leashed but the official website states dogs are allowed off leash. Every time I go always a bunch of happy pups running around. Haven’t witnessed any fights, other then the occasional roughhousing, but that is easily reprimanded if needed. Good food near by as well.

Wow, what an incredible dog park. My pup had so much fun playing in the ocean. Try to check the tide level. Sometimes when it is low, your dog will be mostly play in the mud. Thank you the City of Boston for providing such a lovely peninsula for our dogs.

This is a great spot if your dog needs to run. We’ve had 3 labs over the past 30 years, and each one has loved to come here, play in the water and the MUD, and run up and down the terrain.
The evening sunsets can be spectacular!
We are always careful if there is thin ice. And be aware of the tide. The park is along the Back River but is tidal with an 8′ swing.

Large park on a peninsula. Lots of open space, trails running through the wooded sections and several slopes down to the beach (which is mostly rocks and pebbles.)
Signs declare that all dogs should be on-leash, but there were 15 dogs present today, all running free.
There is a watter bubbler, doggie mitt bags, and trash for pet waste.
Do note that there is no actual fence keeping the dogs in – so if you follow the herd and go off-leash, your dog needs to have good recall.
