Well kept park with tables and chairs for the parents to hang out. Bring bug spray.. so you didn’t get eaten up while watching the kids play
Large playground and picnic area with plenty of room for the kids to run. There’s a large stage with a high backdrop so the drawback is that you can’t see your kids once they explore behind the stage…. other than that, just lovely to hang out. Plenty of modern and clean picnic tables too!
I love this park so much! There’s actually a really cool trail there too which I didn’t find out until a whiles after I went there. My friends and I have gone here plenty of times and had a lot of fun. It’s usually our go-to park to go now and again, because it’s a classic to us. Also a lot of good stuff for kids and the stage is cool. Quality park.
The playground is the main reason why we visit here. my 2 year old toddler loves it. it is pretty well maintained. although it does not have a public bathroom or water fountain, it is a nice local place for kids.
The playground is not the best but kids can have a good time here. The negatives that I see is the parking is small and a little inconvenient and the playground looks dirty, like abandoned. There is no much grass. The positives are that there are a lot of benches to sit, shade and it is easy to watch the kids because is very open. Also there is a Starbucks 2 minutes drive from here which is a plus…
Edit: I just decide to add a complaint about the bathrooms being locked! I talked to a regular that is in this park all the time and she told me that is always locked, so isn’t something that happens once or twice. I mean, what’s the point of having bathrooms if people can’t use? What the kids and parents supposed to do? Go in the woods? Disappointing!
