Great park! The resident swans are always a treat to drive by and lots of water fowl as well. The picnic area with bridge and waterfall are lovely and there are nice paths winding through the park.
Most people are fishing here. We are here for a walk. Many geese and ducks. Six ponds total. Looks like shallow water and small fishes. The views could be better if not coming during the day with hot sun.
This is not our first visit here but over the past 3 years we noticed that there is a lot of trash being dumped, left behind and just simply not put into the trash can. Sometimes dog owners don’t pick up their dogs landmines either..which is disheartening because nobody wants to step into that and track it into their vehicle.
Very nice place to walk through, fish if you like to, and pictures for a special occasion. Can also book a reservation in the back for those special occasions. Small building but a nice set up.
Few docks could use some repair! Park was very clean in the areas I was in. I did not walk the paths but saw a few people enjoy them! All the pick nick areas looked nice and tables were ready for visitors!
A couple of the ponds could use a Lilly pad weed harvest but I am sure still good place to catch a fish or two.
