I’ve grown up here, so I’m partial to this park. It has been updated in such functional ways over the years, it really is a very nice, simple park to take the whole family to. There are family- friendly trails, inclusive playgrounds, wide open field for sports, workout equipment, and it’s small enough for you to not get overwhelmed, but large enough to not be stressed about too many people. It’s never overcrowded.
Small city park with lots of amenities. Multiple playgrounds, JeffCo Health Walk, disc golf course, sand volleyball pit, basketball court, gazebo, pavilion, 0.70 mi hiking trail rated moderate w/ 80ft elevation gain. Road in/around the park needs improvements.
