Perfect for our young puppy. When we went there were so many dogs. Probably 20-25 at least and all different breeds. German Shepard, goldens, labs, even a few pittys! Almost every dog was off leash and every owner was very attentive of their puppy and so kind. It is a decently long walk to get to the water but it’s perfect for our boy. Very clean, everyone cleaned up after their own pups. We will definitely be coming back.

This is April 15th, 2024! beautiful day and poodles LOVE water!! Great workout for us both. Bathrooms are in a building and clean. Great quiet location. There are no wakes just paddle boards and canoes. Shade available to sit in some areas. Ticks are bad here, so bring spray and check your dogs. Dog swim area is not good for wheelchair accessibility due to gravel and uneven areas.

First time to a dog beach and it was great! Water was pretty clear. Shallow enough for intimidated pups and deeper further out for the good swimmers. One dog was chasing after their ball while running and leaping off the pier into the water. There are waste stations at each end of the beach. Grassy sections are not flat so watch your ankles! Other than tha we had a blast!

This is my favorite dog beach! I almost swim here! Trying my best! Some dogs swim really well! The waters a little too deep for me, careful jumping off the dock, my feet didn’t touch the bottom. SCARY!! Sometimes I swim in circles. Sometimes dogs don’t want to chase me, instead they chase balls? Why dog? So I steal their ball and then they chase me! Fun times!
