This hike was one of the most enjoyable hikes I’ve done in New Jersey!!! It was an actual hiking trail making it more challenging than just walking around a random trail in some park… it was great! We started on one side of the parking lot going all the way around the park through a nice cool forest area with lots of shade and tall trees (the nature is so beautiful) with a bunch of small path off the main trail to go check out the water a bit ending off on the other side of the parking lot! I had an amazing time here and definitely recommend it! Just bring your hiking gear and go! It’s a nice trail, easy to follow the signs, some rocks to step over and long enough to have some fun! Wasn’t too crowded either!

Big clean restroom at parking lot. Plenty of parking. Trails are nicely maintained. Could use some more marking to make it a little easier to navigate especially at intersections. Trails are multi use so keep am eye out for mountain bikers. Only encounter one fallen tree blocking the trail. But was easy to get over. A section of the Cuesta Ridge trail was closed
