The best place to go hiking! Check out the rocky point trail it’s the best one and most challenging but it’s easy enough for you to do it! Beautiful park with a lot of history behind it! There’s some really cool stuff to check out there! Right along the ocean with lots of forest and grassy areas this place is amazing! Great place to have fun for a day!

Great park and trails. Plenty of parking. Saw some dogs on the trails. Trails are well maintained and marked. Would recommend a map or app the first few times you are there or until you get familiar with the trails.

Very nice hiking trail in Middletown, NJ. Trails are well defined and are great for those looking for a strenuous hike covered mostly by trees and forest. My only caution is that you need to be careful of the mountain bikes. Paths are narrow, steep in parts and riders can loose control very easily.

Very nice park with lots of history. The ruins of old estate houses and structures can be found off the trails closer to the water. The old fort (you can’t miss it) is well maintained and nice to walk around. There are ticks here so if you decide to walk through the woods make sure you check yourself for ticks when you get home. There are also two Geocaches in the park if you are into that stuff.

A wonderful long trail system to spend the entire day. The trails are decently marked but if your not paying attention there are a few confusing splits in the path and it’s easy to get lost. Dogs and mountain bikes share the path with hikers so be mindful.
