FAQ for Walter Howard Park in High Springs Florida:
The park is either connected to or at least behind the Mt Carmel church. The area appears to be well maintained, to the point that I wonder if anyone plays there. I had stopped by with the intention of sitting to eat and let my service dog off leash to allow her to act like a pet. The rules stated “no pets” on the posted sign, there was no information regarding pets on the map listing. I didn’t get out of the car but I didn’t see restroom facilities either.
Great playground for older and littler kids
Great place right beside Mt Carmel United Methodist Church. You should go to both
My godmother dedicated the land to build the park when I was a baby so the kids in our community could have a place to play safely
Fun place for the family nice park very well kept and what I liked best about it it was not treated as a hangout area by the local teenagers allowing my little kids to be kids
