The park has scenic spots with lovely grass, blooming flowers, and areas for picnics—ideal for dog owners looking to relax outdoors with their pets. Great fields, easily accessible from Hicksville train station — 7 min scoot for the 10-year-old (!) — and yet everybody drives.
My wife and I was trespass from swimming pool for drinking juice in an sitting area. Police was called. Be aware you can’t take photos ( against the law to enforce this) can’t eat food or drink juice. I will never go back .
Comfortable rink….went for a USA Figure Skating Competition. Not freezing like other rinks. Clean and welcoming.
Lovely park and play area. They had a pool(8-6), hockey/ice skating rink, playground for young children, batting cages bring your own bat, driving range, golf course. The park is open 24hrs but the side activities have certain hours of operation. Best to call and ask for the hours
Nicely sized park for a good walk. They need to replace some of the signs which are way too faded. There’s a grass path that eventually leads to a fence, kinda annoying. By the chess tables and other courts, the entrance way rocks are torn up or missing and it can be very dangerous, be careful! Overall, it’s like a smaller Eisenhower Park. Nice purple flowers grow in the grass.
