This park has a small skate park, a big kid playground, a smaller kid slide area, swings, meet go round, picnic area, and lots of shade. And there was a portable potty when we went.

We visited after googling ‘largest nearby playground’. It was worth the trip on a Sunday afternoon and my grands had fun. Lots of other children showed up as well.

I really like this park. It’s right off of Crestview, a sharp right turn from the right by the traffic light and a left turn after the pedestrian/bike path. Now, the parking lot is small, but it’s not usually packed unless there are families having picnics. The park has a skateboard park inside the park, which are two adjacent concrete structures the skaters use almost all year round when the weather permits. I did some diminish with my drone without issues or major obstacles filming some of the local skaters. It was a pleasant experience as the park provided additional space to conduct the filming. Keep in mind that close by the Herndon golf club is adjacent to the park in two directions, but separated to Keri park goers and golfers at a same distance. Trailside Park has a picnic area and a decent size kid obstacle it playground to the far left of the park entrance, so children will be safe. If you’re in the area and require a quiet area try this park if you have a chance.

Quiet park in Herndon. I used to play volleyball here in the early to mid ‘90’s. There is a skateboard/bmx ramp now.

Decent park with a small playground to climb and slide on. My kids loved the merry-go-round and swings. There is also a skatepark and a pavilion. 2 Porto-potties in the parking lot. I loved all the trees that provided shade. Unfortunately there was lots of trash on the ground, so the people that use it don’t take very good care of the space.
