Could be a 5 star . But the amount of garbage, trash, plastic pollution, balloon ribbons and more is really really disheartening and disturbing. My family went for the beach walk at dusk, otherwise we could have spent the whole day picking up garbage. Saw a heroine baggy, a tampon applicator, and more. Saw so much trash… it definitely distracts from the beauty and majesty of the dunes and the beach.

Flat trail 1.2 mile trail (2.4 RT) through woods and fields, near a marsh with a big pay off — pristine sandy beach. Bring bug spray.
