Great place playground is a good size and plenty of room for kids and pets to run and play. Only reason not 5 stars is the trail heads aren’t very clear and the maps are hard to read. But overall wonderful park!
This park is AWESOME! I can’t believe I waited so long to try it out. Me and the dogs new favorite hike
The playground is a mess, rotting pillars, broken rides, mulch needed to be renewed a long time ago. The trails are nice, the restrooms are okay. But playground is unsafe, one of these days someone might get injured.
The playground is terrific for kids. It is not Lemon Lake playground, but it is a top notch park.
The perimeter trail is a hidden gem and well worth the trek. Sections of it stay muddy in the most dry of times, so wear appropriate footwear.
The western portion of the trail is a bit more scenic as you trek through many hills left over by the glaciers. The eastern portion is flat and skirts the back road that borders the park and then through woods that are full of brush and briars. I’ve seen many more deer on the eastern side in the woods during the day.
This was my first time visiting. Definitely pretty with plenty to do. There was so much space, I just followed while the dog wandered and explored. Creek was completely dried up but there were a few people fishing in the pond–and according to the trail map, there’s two other ponds on the property, back in the woods.
It’s 40 minutes from my house so not sure we’ll visit it again soon, but if you’re looking for a quiet place to fish or let the kids play (playground was big) or have a picnic, it’s definitely worth going.
