Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Villa Chanticleer Dog Park is a spacious, well-maintained dog park in Healdsburg offering a large fenced area with mulch, mature trees, and a covered shelter for shade and rain protection. It features self-filling water bowls, several seating areas including benches and chairs, and is wheelchair accessible. The park is popular with regular dog visitors, mainly for larger dogs but welcoming of smaller dogs as well. There is an adjacent leash-only hiking trail connecting to other parks.
Excellent dog park. Everyone keeps it clean. Plenty of room for the doggies to run. Fencing is good. Fresh water available too. All around great park. Hiking trail next to the park also.
I’m not a huge fan of dog parks but thought I would give this place a try. We moved to Healdsburg from SF and our dog has always been very friendly and mingles off leash at the beach for miles with other dogs but he absolutely hates this dog park. I’ve been a couple times and most of the dogs are regulars and immediately surrounded my dog which he didn’t like so he got aggressive. I leashed him and left. There are better trails and parks to spend time at. It is a nice park but it wasn’t for us.
Fantastic dog park in Healdsburg! It’s big and on a bit of a hill. There’s a few different seating areas that are spread out (including some in the shade). There were a few large dogs when we arrived. They were all well behaved and pretty much doing their own thing.
My dog Artemis loves it here. It is mostly for large dogs but my 17lbs 5.5 month old puppy is always accepted into their pack!
It is very large and just had brand new mulch put in. There’s a covered shelter, benches, mature trees, chairs, auto refilling water bucks and larger trough for the dogs to play in.
It has many regulars with lovely dogs. But always be alert since sometimes out of Towners bring dogs there that aren’t well acclimated to dog park life.
This dog park has a nice large fenced in area, it is clean with tree’s and a tent for shade and rain protection. The water bowls are self filling and are always full and fresh. There is also a trail that connects to other parks at the right side of the entrance but dogs have to be in the leash for the trail. I highly recommend this dog park.
