Most of the time, nobody is at the dog park. Then the park is great. But if you’re there with other people, it’s terrible. It disrupts the whole point of coming to the dog park. The green space would be better used in making a larger dog park. It’d be nice If the poop bags were refilled more frequently, and it’d be even better if there was a water fountain

In August 2023, I registered to the dog park. I paid the registration fee for a full year, and pay an extra NULL for the key. Fast forward to January 2024 ,the lock was changed in the dog park(Be aware they change the lock every January!). So, I went to the city hall to change the key and they tried to charge me another NULL for the new key!! Correct me if I’m wrong, but shouldn’t they have prorated the key price back in August`undefined` They knew that there was only 4 months left in the year, but yet they charged me NULL for a full year! Completely ridiculous, Please be aware!!!

Awesome place to take my dogs. My neighbors pitbull tries to get under my fence every time I am outside with my dogs. So, this place now acts as my new backyard as hazel park animal control hasn’t given me any actionable help. I love this dog park and so do my dogs!

Great place to bring your dog to run and play. You need a key to get in (proof of vaccination and ? gets you a key at city clerks office Jan – dec) so you know other dogs are vaccinated. Water, toys, and poo bags are available. All the dogs are friendly. Separate areas for small and large dogs.
