Good park, no complaints. My kids like to “do the obstacle course”, which is actually a pretty long loop around the perimeter of the park.

We visited this place for a picnic and games for a family reunions. Most of us were from out of town and we really appreciated everything that the people did with our reservation for the shelter and the rest of the park. Thanks so much!

I would have given a higher rating but I thought it was very sad that there were 8 wiffleball teams with 4 and 5 year olds playing.. and couldn’t use the RESTROOMS if they needed to. It was 7:15 pm, games going strong and not one bathroom stall open to anyone that needed it. Really sad!

Middle Penninsula Amateur Radio Club uses this park annually sometimes several times each year for the shelter. There’s a plumbed restroom for males – females. After hours are approved for certain special events so the restrooms are locked and portables are used in place during the overnight times. Plenty of space today, unused shelter tables. All this with four or more soccer fields active with full teams of youth and various ages. Temperature and breezes were very comfortable. Had a nice morning and early afternoon. Was even nice to hear distant patter of voices in the soccer matches.

There are additional picnic tables spread 80′ from another outside of the shelter.

Abington Park location is not marked at Powatan Road and US 17.
