It’s beautiful beyond words! There’s a gorgeous walking trail with a shallow creek that has natural springs running a long side it. There is info all along the trail about the plants that grow there. Then there’s the beautiful river with bank fishing spots and a real nice boat ramp. They have loaner life jackets too. There’s electric and water available all the time and if you call to say ur staying they unlock the showers and bathrooms. There’s a little play ground and two very big pavilions along with picnic tables and grills all throughout the park. It’s dog friendly and plenty of room and fun for ur fur babies. It’s kept clean and rif raf free because it has cameras and law coming through regularly. The staff is super nice and sometimes stops to check on you. It is truly an awesome gift to the public for FREE. So please keep it clean and enjoy ur visit.

Beautiful. They keep the grounds up well and there is a nice little walking trail. My only qualm is that the bathrooms are always locked when I take the kids to the park. If not for that, I would give 5 stars.

Find it. Great fossils. Good fishing. Grounding found here. Boat launch is fab. Facilities for parties available. Serene hiking area.
Secure. Safe. Clean.

Beautiful Nature, nice river access

Very nicely maintained grounds, but the bathrooms need some work. The toilets don’t flush well and the latch for one of the stalls broke off in my hand. Law enforcement checked on us and was very friendly and polite.
