Harvey Centennial Nature Park is a well-loved green space in Harvey, North Dakota, offering a clean and safe environment that’s great for families, kids, and even your four-legged friends. While the park is widely recognized for its beautiful playgrounds—including a rare playground designed specifically for children ages 6 to 23 months—it’s also an excellent spot for those seeking pet-friendly trails and dog-friendly hikes in rural ND. The park features a short walking and biking trail, wide open spaces, and plenty of areas to stretch your dog’s legs.
Besides play opportunities for children, visitors can enjoy amenities like a 9-hole disc golf course and an outdoor fitness center. The new and clean wood chips, accessible walkways, and ample parking make it easy for everyone to enjoy the park. Thanks to its wheelchair accessible entrance and parking, as well as abundant shaded areas and playgrounds for different age groups, Harvey Centennial Nature Park offers a welcoming experience for families and dog owners alike.
Beautiful park with clean and safe environment for kids to play. There are two playgrounds: one for little babies and toddlers and another one for older kids. Wood barks are new and very clean.
In such a rural town like Harvey you wouldn’t expect such an amazing park such as this. My little one enjoyed himself and mom did too! Lots of walking opportunities and play opportunities. Bonus for having a separate playground designed for children ages 6-23 months! You don’t see that often it was such a nice change for once being able to let my baby play without restrictions. This park is great!
Great park for the kids to run around and play.
Such a great playground! Stopped here to exercise our kids. Amazing condition!! They even had a 6m-24m separate playground.
Thank you Harvey for a great pitstop on a long journey! 👏🏾
I stayed in Harvey over 4th of July and found this gem of a park. At the park you’ll find a short walking/bike trail, large playground, 9-hole disc golf, and, of all things, an outdoor fitness center.
