So unreal and beautiful!! Didn’t see any wildlife but I’m sure it depends on time of day/year

Beautiful location for some photography. Saw nesting Magpies right in the parking location. Within 100 yards of parking space saw 2 mule deer and several ground squirlls. Fantastic location.

This is such a beautiful location for fishing. Just be aware, you will be doing a bit of hiking and the mosquitoes are plentiful.

Beautiful area to access fishing on the middle fork of south platt. Low water levels in early fall but still caught smaller rainbows. Two entrances, I took the North entrance and drove about a smile to the parking lot and you can just walk 100 feet to the river.

We took entrance off hwy 9 to get to parking area. Rocky road and one lane only. Steep foot path down to the river. Recommend walking stick for steady footing. Beautiful views of river valley and mountains. Quiet with abundant wildlife. No restrooms available. Primitive area, but beautiful. River is fishable with pathways following the river. Bring water and bug spray!
