Best breakfast I’ve had in years. An egg is an egg but for some reason it was the best eggs I have ever eaten. If your in the area show um some love you won’t regret it.
This place was amazing! So glad we stopped here. Had a couple of cocktails and the bacon cheeseburger. Girlfriend had some sort of buffalo burger. Brenda was wonderful. Attentive. So was the cook. Didn’t get his name, but this cool cat is definitely the best cook in town. Terrific burgers (cooked perfectly). Perfect fries too! Highly recommend. Cool atmosphere also! This place has some serious history in it. Fascinating! Stop in. You won’t be disappointed! We sure weren’t.
Stopped here at the recommendation of a bartender in Breckenridge. We were seeking Rocky Mountain oysters and were told this was the best place get them. The locals were incredibly welcoming and had terrific personalities. At one point they collectively coaxed the town drink to leave and locked the door behind him so he couldn’t get back in! The food, Rocky Mountain oysters and a buffalo bacon cheeseburger were delicious. Drinks were cold and conversation was engaging. I would go here every week if I lived in Colorado. Great place to stop and create a story!
Our service was fantastic. She was friendly and helpful. As told, the green chili was not super hot, just extremely delicious. I shared a taste of my Border Buffalo with 2 guys with me and both loved it as well. Fries, yummy and Coke! Now, a family favorite. Thank you, service and all food memorable.
If you traveling through the small town of Hartsel on your way or back from the George Lake or Eleven mile state park, and you are hungry, look no where. This 1850 small eatery cum bar has everything you are looking for. The breakfast, lunch drinks are awesome and they put their heart into the food. I love the same old school charm they have maintained over the years. We were greeted by Jimmy, Oh man he is a happy soul and amazing person. He knows what you want. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Can not praise them enough. Must visit
