Don’t move here. EVERY WEEK one of the elevators breaks and it takes +10min waiting for the elevator. Imagine you late for work, waiting an uber or having to take the bus and the elevator takes MORE THAN 10 MINUTES to arrive. And this happens at least every month and sometimes takes several days to fix the elevator. It is a very recurrent problem. Last year they also had a problem with the fire alarm that EVERY WEEK someone would activate the building fire alarm and the building had to be evacuated. This happened right when I was online interviewing for a new job. Again this was a recurrent problem that took +6 months to solve. I’m only leaving 1 star for the people from the front door who are awesome and the maintenance who have been quite responsive.
I moved to Hartford in October of 2021. I have lived at the property for ~12 months and I have nothing but good things to say:
(1) The staff – amazing people. The front desk staff is awesome and they all have unique personalities. I love my daily interactions with them. The maintenance crew is also great; they work fast and help with any issue you may have.
(2) Leasing office – they try their best to work with you and are always attentive to your situation. They want you to have a great experience while living at H21.
(3) Location – Hartford is on the rise. You are literally located in the center of it all. The food spots are great and there are always activities happening in the area.
I cannot say enough good things about my 2 years living at Hartford 21. All of the staff members are incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming. The building always felt safe and secure thanks to the amazing 24/7 concierge staff. Steve helped my boyfriend and I find our beautiful apartment and continued to be helpful and answer any questions we had over our 2 years living here. You’ll never get sick of the amazing apartment views. Maintenance is always on top of things and if we ever needed anything fixed it was done immediately. Never had any issues with noise. I was never able to hear anything from any other tenants on my floor from the inside of my apartment. The parking garage is extremely convenient especially in the winter. So many great restaurants/bars/stores/yoga studio (Hartford Sweat) all walking distance. Any packages that get delivered will be held safely in a room by concierge and you will receive a text from H21 letting you know that you have a package ready to be picked up. I can go on and on all day about all the wonderful things Hartford 21 has to offer. Highly recommend to anyone and wish I was able to stay longer.
Nice apartment, good facilities, beautiful view, and friendly concierge.
There is only a small issues with occasionally fire alarm, specifically when you live on a higher floor and have to walk down the stairs and when you get there you’ll realize it is nothing serious.
f you want to live in Hartford Downtown, you wont get a better place to stay.
The view from the apartment is really good and the apartment has top notch amenities.
Staff, concierge everything is really good and this is what makes H21 a luxury apartment.
There are 2-3 more options to stay in Hartford Downtown but i had been to all those apartments and H21 stands out in every aspect.
