Very peaceful and quiet. Nice trail around the pond. Favorite of many for years and years.
Love the walking trails. Beautiful to be out there on the nature. Very peaceful place. Like the fact there’s a porta John and picnic area. It would be dog friendly I do believe.

I cant recall if I’ve ever been there but it was a great day to go and check it out! The colors of the trees are slowly starting to change and it was sunny. 🙂
This is one of those places I can’t wait to visit again and again. Especially when the seasons change… My favorite times are when the trillium bloom, and when the Silver Cranes stop here. Once around the ‘pond’ (lake!) is just long enough to immerse myself in nature, without it taking all day.
Gale’s Pond is a looped walking trail around the pond. The end of the trail drops you off on a dirt road with a bridge. From the road it’s a short walk back to the parking area. There are boardwalks and trails with places to sit along the way. There are also markers with points of interest. Make sure to grab a map, the markers only have numbers. This is a great nature area and was an easy, fast trail.
