I love bringing my dog, Venus to the dog park. Today was a great day because there were over 30 dogs here, in both the large and small dogs’ area. She had a choice of dogs to mingle and play with.(like they’re humans who meet and mingle..😂😂)
Jogging to this park from my hotel. Just 1 mile away. Looks good.
This is the best park around for alone time, time with someone as well as family time. There is enough place for a quick walk and also a trial you can get lost for 15 mins. There are two volleyball courts and 2 basketball courts and upto three surrounded fields for dogs. Also there is a place for children and spacious and clean washrooms.
LPT Parks & Recreation never fails to amaze. I “found” this park while performing a scheduled event for the township. Another jewel in the system. Complete with a nature trail. Residents of Lower Paxton Township would do well to visit as many of its parks as possible. Kohls is one of many such jewels.
This park is actually one of my favorites in the area. The people in the dog park are for the most park nice and friendly and everyone is paying attention to what the dogs are up to. I love walking the trails and taking pictures of the plants. Its a nice mini get away from the city while still being insanely close. It does tend to get busy in the summer and fall.
