Nice historical site if you want to relax, have a small picnic or take in the scenery. Good for walking a dog or taking a break from driving, kayaking etc.

Quaint little park. Great place to have lunch or walk the dogs. Cedar-stained creek is wonderful. Two picnic tables. Great place.

Great place to kayak. It is very narrow and lots of turns in the beginning but it widens up after a mile or two. Lots of downed trees and obstacles to paddle around which adds to the charm of the Great Egg River. It’s 10 miles from Pennypot to Weymouth Furnace.
