Filled with trash….Everywhere. Pretty depressing.
Great quick little park to let the kids run a bit when they’re antsy. Small and contained easily within site for parents with multiple children. Grab hoagies for lunch at the picnic table
Beautiful..you can come and enjoy tennis or some basketball..or enjoy a beautiful walk around the lake. There is so much to do for the entire family, rent a boat or fish….your little ones have a huge section of the park to play and learn…also the older toddlers have a big chunk of the park to play and socialize what great fun….come on down. You can enjoy your cookout on the grill that is there at the park. the picnic area of the park…There are bathrooms on-site to change our wash up at. Come see for yourself…I brought my baby Jackie Jack, our family dog..he enjoyed the open areas…and what is too funny is, that that was the day we all learned that our dog could not swim. I wish I had a video of that. He just jumped up and down in the water barking. A day we will never forget. They have a clubhouse where you can find the restrooms under the porch. They are large and clean and you can freshen up and take a moment to gather yourself. In every area except the large wooded area and the fields that do not have a paved path running through, these areas do not have trash reciprocals. As with anywhere you travel, I know everyone appreciates a clean area and we all like to leave it that way.
I pulled in the parking lot for a short time before I had to leave for work. I noticed a memorial for our fallen soldiers. One of the men on that memorial is Eric Snell. When I was younger I went to school with him (Wilson school). He was a good friend to me and I always wondered where he was. Now I know. Thank you Eric for your friendship and your service. I will visit again soon.
Mixed feelings about this park. The tennis court area is very nice clean and well-kept. The basketball court area is also pretty decent there’s only two new backboards. I am not sure why they didn’t replace the other ones to keep everything consistent. Some nice walking areas, sitting areas and picnic areas under trees. The problem is there are also areas with a lot of litter and debris.I am not sure how often they actually clean the park but there was bottles on the ground and trash on the ground. I visited the park on a Monday afternoon after the weekend so maybe no one cleaned it up after the weekend.
