Betts Park is located at 703 Wesley St in Greenville, Texas, and is identified as a local spot for dog owners seeking a place for their pets to stretch their legs. However, recent visitor reviews note that the park is more of an open field than a traditional, maintained dog park. The grass is said to be extremely tall at times, which can be disappointing for those expecting a more active or secure dog-friendly space. The lack of clear park amenities or designated features suggests that this location may be best suited for dog owners simply looking for an open area rather than a full-service dog park in Greenville, TX.
While some reviewers appreciate having a green space in the city, others have been disappointed by the lack of maintenance and structure. If you are searching for a well-equipped, fenced-in, or carefully managed dog park, you may find this location less suitable. For those seeking alternatives or additional pet-friendly trails in Greenville, Texas, you will want to consider other parks or recreational areas nearby.
5/2022- Not sure what kind of “Park” this is, but it’s no park! Grass was 3+ feet tall and I thought I was at the wrong place. Who maintains this?? I brought my dog here to run of some energy and was very disappointed. The city couldn’t tell me a thing. And no other parks seemed to have a dog area. What a huge let down.
