Great greenway right smack in the middle of Greenville SC. Easy walking paths available for running, biking, skating, dog walking. Some parts are wheelchair friendly too. The waterfall feature is great for cooling off during humid summers.
A+++ PROS****VERY Clean and kept up. Bathrooms were also clean and well placed. Several places to grab lunch that had bike racks to lock your bikes and people watch or bring your own lunch and eat at one of several picnic tables. I thought I wasn’t going to be able to carry my weapon but the no guns sign was for the zoo. There was a bike shop midway which included a very thorough bike washing station. Didn’t bring your bike? Plenty of electric bike rentals. The water falls were awesome but probably would have been better if it had rained in the last ten days. Plenty of play areas for kids with a water park, rock climbing wall see (drone shots). It even had a snow cone truck. Very dog friendly with pooey bags throughout. CONS****The trail isn’t marked in some spots leaving you wondering if you were on the right route. We have recumbent bikes and there were 2 hills we had to get off and push our bikes. It was really to crowded to get a workout on the bikes. Could have been the beautiful weather and being a Sunday.
A beautiful space for enjoying a bike 🚲 ride, or walking the 🐕 dog or pushing the stroller and taking the kids out for a walk or bike ride.
Stretching from Travelers Rest SC and into the heart of Greenville SC, it’s a beautiful trail 🌳🐿️ for any activity level or distance.
Enjoying the outdoors and the wonderful weather 🌞 is a great way to spend time on the swamp rabbit 🐰 trail.
We love this trail because you have many different areas you can jump onto around any area you are staying in, Greenville, SC. There is much to see on your walk and things to teach your children and family about, too. I love the easy and shady walk too. The sound of nature is exhilarating.
The Swamp Rabbit Trail was such a beautiful way to enjoy the Greenville landscape! We are not avid bikers, but due to the flat terrain, easily did 19 miles (9.5 out and back). It was very easy to rent a bike for half a day and still be able to enjoy the stops along the way–such as The Commons, Swamp Rabbit Grocery & Cafe, and Furman University.
