This park is full of large old growth trees providing much needed shade protecting you from the summer heat. Many spots available right on a bluff overlooking the mighty Mississippi where you can see the occasional barge and cruise ship go by. The park staff is friendly and helpful and the town is only 15 minutes away, with a cute downtown area with good restaurants. Electricity and water hookups with a view of the River is a fantastic value for NULL!

It’s a beautiful view of the river! We didn’t stay overnight camping, but just drove through to climb the observation tower. The Mississippi River is a powerful river and to watch the barges move up and down stirs pride in the commerce that has taken place on the river for almost a couple of centuries.

We drove through here today, checking out this campground as a potential future place to stay when passing through here again.I’m glad we checked it out before coming here. This campground is a mess. Several of the large electrical boxes are open with wires hanging out. It looks very dangerous. There were not many campers here today, but the few we saw were very old and run down looking. It is really too bad because it wouldn’t take too much to make this place a gem of a place rather than a diamond in the rough. The observation deck is pretty cool, and it was the highlight of the park to us.We will not be staying at this park.

I’m a 4th grade teacher at O’Bannon. I decide to have our end of the year picnic at Warfield Park after seeing a post from my former parent. I’m so glad I did. First let me talk about Mr. Wells. He is one of the most pleasant person I’ve met. He made sure we didn’t need anything before he left. The kids had a blast! There was plenty of space to accommodate 65 students, a food truck, and water slide. I think we will make this our annual picnic for 4th graders.

You can’t beat the view or the gorgeous sunset! They let us pick whichever RV site we wanted & we had power & water hookups. No sewage at your personal site but there’s a dump station at the park. This park is almost right at the Mississippi/Arkansas boarder. It was f25/night in February of 2022. There’s no bells & whistles at this park but you feel at one with nature in the park. I’d stay again if in the area.
