If you’re looking for a spacious and welcoming dog park in Greenville, Central Bark Park is a fantastic option for you and your canine companions. Nestled behind an apartment complex and just a short walk from general parking, this park offers wide open spaces, grassy fields, and beautiful mature Eastern White Pines for plenty of natural shade. The park is fenced and divided into separate areas for large and small dogs, making it a safe and social environment for pups of all sizes. The park provides a mix of grassy and forested areas, so whether your dog enjoys running in the open or exploring the woods, there’s something for everyone.
This pet-friendly park is known for its clean, well-maintained grounds and its accessibility, including a wheelchair-accessible parking lot. While there are plenty of trees for shade, you’ll want to bring your own poop bags as these may not be provided on-site. After rainy weather, some areas can get muddy, so plan accordingly. Central Bark Park is truly a gem for anyone seeking dog-friendly hiking or a relaxing space to let their pup play off-leash in the heart of Greenville!
Lots of room and lots of trees!
Great combination of grassy/ foresty areas. Only complaint is that they don’t maintain it consistently and the grass and weeds become overgrown.
This is a huge fenced in area for dogs to be let off leash. It’s in a private area not by a road. There is open space and woodsy areas. There is a space for large dogs to play and a separate space for smaller dogs. The park has always been clean and kept up each time we go.
Definitely agree with the lots of room and lots of trees but it also has open spaces with lots of grass as well. Dog park was well clean and easy to find. Be sure to bring your own bags for clean up. There is some mud but that’s to be expected with all the rain we’ve had.
Central Bark Park is awesome for dogs. And people. It sits behind an apartment complex so we parked in the general parking area and did a short walk to the park.
The park is divided into a Big Dog and Little Dog area. Both areas are roughly the same size, with a large grassy field and a forest section of beautiful mature Eastern White Pines. The park seems very well maintained. We made sure to bring our own dog doo bag.
Our Aussie-doodle played and played with the other dogs visiting Central Bark. Great space to run and play!
