The YMCA Walking Trail offers plenty of parking in the YMCA parking lot.
The trail is gravel, includes exercise stops with equipment along the route, surrounded by trees that provide nice shade, and runs next to a waterway. Several benches are located throughout to rest in.
If you walk the gravel trail only it’s about .7 miles. If you add in the optional paved out-and-back over the bridge route it’s about .9 miles.
The trail is open year-round to the public and is beautiful to visit anytime. You’ll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren’t allowed on this trail. This is on a smoke-free campus.
