Very beautiful pond. There are several trails around with picturesque views. Also a lot of barbeque places.

Its not a very big body of water. The trails are very clean. There is a small beach area. Plenty of picnic spots with grill. Gets very busy so get there early. NULL parking. I think it’s more for no- residents. Upper and lower parking. I hadn’t been there in years. Grew up in neighboring Great Barrington. Again, get there early and establish yourself a area you want to set-up at. Enjoy!

Beautifully maintained public area. There is an open swim section on the pond as well, and a boat launch. The pond itself is very peaceful but the path is a bit overgrown in places.P.s. someone left their glasses on the tree 😀

Nice hiking trail around Benedict Pond. Easy hike for the children. Approximately two miles with easy climbs and great views of the pond. A couple of benches for viewing the water fowl make for a nest rest stop. Clean bathrooms and even a pay phone (great for emergencies sine little to no cell coverage) at the parking lot. The hike took our family of six about an hour including a few stops for pictures.
