Awesome deep in the forest hiking trails for ruck marching. Good to zen out and admire flora and fauna.
I found this park on the Alltrails app. Free parking is available. Outside port-a-potee available by the parking lot. The off path trails are marked for bicycles and hikers. Today, this trail was active with families, bicyclers, and individuals enjoying a nice walk. This is a full loop trail that was 5 miles all the way around. The area was clean throughout. I felt safe. There were trail markers provided identifying emergency markers. Nice views. Wildlife is seen such as birds and squirrels. I’ve now marked this place as a favorite of mine. 😊
Good trails to walk, run or bike. There’s a long paved trail and a wood loop trail. Beautiful lake views and places to have lunch snacks by the lake. Saw deer as well! Very much recommended for a nice walk. Parking lot is not too big but can fit a good 20 or so cars.
First time at the trail. The trail was a bit confusing and ended up walking on the pavement. Walked to the lake and back. The trail was pretty easy with some nice views. Ran into some deer along the way.
Loved the trail. Well marked, gorgeous views, fun and challenging. Got a flat halfway through so will certainly return to finish it.
