We walked the trails for about 5 miles and it was great as we encountered small hills and irregular ground covered by trees. Free parking available on site. Main Street downtown is only about 10 minutes away drive
Beautiful nature walks alongside the lake. Many trails weaving in and out of each other, fun to just chose your own adventure and loop around. Be careful where you see bike path signs though, bikes come flying around corners quicktime.Easy trail for all to enjoy as well as a wide dirt path for runners/easiest strolls that goes through the entire place.Convenient parking lot right at the trail head.
Nice, wide trail, leaves plenty of room for walkers and bikers alike. I walked out to the boat houses, but that’s not actually part of the trail. I just like being near the water.
I love this trail. It is just very broken up, but each trail has it’s unique characteristics. This one has easier climbs and shallow descends so great beginner intermediate training if you are a mountain biker. Trail runners have plenty of variety as well. Walkers get plenty of distance off the trails on the concrete.Parking is straight past the open gate you can access everything from that location.Portable bathrooms.Place to rinse off bikes, feet, and dogs.Laid back atmosphere! If you hike out you can get to some picnic tables along the trails, it will get humid in summer.
