It’s a beautiful place to visit and walk your dog. It’s very sandy throughout so just prepare. There are a ton of little paths that go everywhere that aren’t mapped, so next time I’ll probably just stick to the yellow trail on the edge and to help avoid poison ivy.

Beautiful area to hike around and find a nice spot to sit and read.

Beautiful walking trails & dirt hills to hike around, scenic area at the top with sand & trees. I like coming here. It’s quiet, clean, & peaceful, close also, so that’s a plus.

A very nice walk, I took an outer an inner ring and came to 2,9 km or 1.8 miles. Pine trees and deciduous trees both are represented. There is a nice area where you can go down and have to climb a little over fallen trees.
As that takes a bit of energy I found it nicer than a normal walk on even terrain.
As roots and fallen branches hid below the snow you had to tread carefully. But what is life without risk.

Great hiking trails. I love that there are so many directions and hills to explore. The parking lot was full when we arrived and I was a little disappointed there were so many people but to my surprise, we only crossed paths with one other group. We had a great adventure and will return to explore more of these local trails. We even encountered a lovely turkey.
