Park has a couple baseball fields (awful infield on one of them, more like cement than gravel) a dog park, play place, soccer fields, basketball courts etc. Feels pretty safe, multiple parking lots.
Used Google Maps to find..thought I was in wrong area. No sign pointing to WHERE it actually is once you enter parking lot.
The baseball fields, pinecone trees and circle track are beautiful..
The dog areas “oan” are very unkept and very poopy..no upkeep to dog play areas..the grass is dried greenish brown and has a lot of grayish dirt? The dogs seem to like walking the outdoor circle better..
The Bathroom building perimeters..have strong horrible urine odor..
On a positive note..A+ for doggy drinking fountain..
I probably would not go to the park alone or bring kids to the park without a dog because of safety red flags..transients.
It’s an o.k. park. A little run down, but a good space to get out and move.
The dog park here is just okay, but the accessibility of it is nice. It’s also the only real dog park in this area.
Nice place, clean, not much shade, saw some wild turkeys, big open fields. Plenty of parking. Walkways and paths. Dog friendly, just make yo clean up after them. Bathrooms, dog run area.
