Rather small area for the dogs, but they at least got a little exercise! Very pretty area, though.
In my opinion this was a long needed point of interest to have in the town of Grand Rapids and for some it was long awaited and over due to be available. It is a small and large dog friendly dog park. I haven’t personally met any dog owners there, who aren’t up for a little conversation. It is super nice for our four legged friends almost the 365.25 day’s of which the park hours allow access
It was a very nice dog park! My dog doesn’t get to be around a lot of other dogs so this was a treat for both of us! He got to meet a lot of other dogs and people which is always good. Will definitely go back!
Great park with established trees and plenty of space for dogs to run around. Everyone is friendly. Lots of benches to sit on while your dog runs. Shaded from the trees which is really nice on hot days. There is a nice trail right next to the park that goes along the Mississippi.
This was my first time to this park but hopefully not my last. It is a bit small as far as other dog parks I have been to but it was not by any means over crowded. It’s fairly shaded by pine trees which is good on a hot day for use. There are benches and picnic tables as well as a separate area for small dogs.
