Creative touches, such as small kiddie pools in the summer, add to its charm. While most users highlight the park’s strong fencing and pleasant community, visitors should supervise play closely, as dog behavior varies. I had my small dog in the small dog side somebody left the gate alar and a larger dog started chasing my beagle, she pulled lame. Now she can put her weight on her front leg. I just put my other dog down Friday, took the last of my money! And now she needs to go to the vet, the owner of the other dog said sorry. That’s not going to get me into the vet.
Great place for my dogs to run and play. Wide open areas, there are tennis balls and Frisbee’s scattered all over to play with, and a few benches for the human counterparts to sit on. There is an area for smaller dogs as well as large dogs and water bowls provided. Would recommend.
I used to love this dog park! It is poorly maintained, and people bring aggressive or unfriendly dogs here. My dog has been attacked on multiple occasions and I won’t be going back.
Well it is definitely well fenced!! Unless your dog can jump 12 ft High you should be okay. It is quite a walk up to the front but you have a choice of a concrete pad that is short but steep or a handicap sidewalk that is long and winding, but at least you have a choice! The water faucet is actually outside of both of the parks but the Ingenuity of some parkgoer shows through as they hooked up a hose and just ran it into the park. The ground is mostly grass but is a sand pit right underneath the awning structure and then there is a pile of wood chips kind of over there by itself? There are not a lot of trees but there is a lot of room to run and somebody has brought and left a few plastic pools. But the dogs are all friendly and the people are very nice!! They all seem to know each other, also.
Large dog park with large and little dog sections.
Dogs are always always at this park, making this a go to location if you want to have your dog play with other dogs.
Kiddy pools often are near entrance of large dog section in the summer… Simply move these to the grassy section if you want to avoid a muddy mess at the entrance :p
Nice location for a dog park and owners have been very good with their dogs every time I’ve gone 🙂
