My son loves this park. Pet friendly.

No bathrooms, no splash pad, not even much in the way of trees or foliage to look at. There’s hardly any lighting either. More than enough space on the south side of the road for a basketball court and some bathrooms to be installed but the city doesn’t do much in the way of improvement when it comes to the third Ward and neighborhoods where the dominant paradigm as far as population is people of color.
Almost fitting that it backs up to a cemetery.

Absolutely love this beautiful park for families of all ages. No bathrooms or drinking fountains. Dog park across the street with sitting area, could be upkept more often with pretty flowers, trash removal, & cut grass by City Parks Dept.
