A very nice place to take our dog! She loves to run and meet new friends. They even have a dog washing station!
It’s a great place to bring the dogs to run around and play with other dogs. Everyone does a nice job cleaning up after their animals. (For the most part.) Well worth the cost of the membership.
I just heard about the park this year. Membership for the year is only NULL. Absolutely WORTH the investment to see my dog run and swim in a pond I know is safe for her to swim in. You can’t be too sure with all the public places around here. Plus, the park is BEAUTIFUL. Lush grass to role in. They’ve got an elevated bathtub in the back corner with provided dog shampoo and a hose. GENIUS! I will pay for the membership for as long as I live around the park.
Members only means that you go to a nearby office and show proof of vaccinations, pay a fee for the key and maintenance. Dogs run safe, what’s the big deal? People are making something outta nothing. It costs to keep the fencing up, grass mowed. It’s awesome for me as my dog cannot be off leash unless in a fenced area. And so many nice people and dogs to meet:)
I have been going here 15 years or more, and it is wonderful. I see complaints that it costs money, but somebody has to pay for maintenance and improvements. You sign up at Animal Aid South vet, and need to show pets have vaccinations. They bought the land (an old meat processing plant) and turned it into the wonderful dog park it is today, complete with sprinkler system, trees, shelter structure, and pond. My dogs and I love it!
