Great Regular Campground. Normal Good Old Camping. Weekends are the best.
Awesome campground friendly staff and plenty to do to keep the family busy such a great place for weekends or even the seasonal year 😀
When I arrive there, there was no one to wait on us. We had to search for someone. And the campground just felt like everybody owned their own share (lots of permanent campground sites) and I felt like an outsider in a closed community.
Nice people and very helpful staff. Sites r nice but only a few for long campers. Rs is 40 feet and we had to change sites when we arrived because the 1st site was not long enough to accommodate our rig. Sites don’t have sewer, but campground will empty black water for a fee. 1 last note, to quote Dennis Leary from the movie The Ref ‘ Connecticut is the 5th ring of hell.’ I only say that because of things that happened on the ride to Connecticut
Been camping at this campground for over 35 years and with in that time seen many changes but it’s always been a favorite spot for me and my family as it’s one of the most wilderness campgrounds in the state with many campgrounds being more in the open and less trees with paved roads. Hemlock hill to me feels more like camping with a lot of foliage and dirt roads instead of paved roads to me this makes it feel more like camping.
